Only the title is required. Anything else you know saves a phone call.

Title. As it appears on the cover, or as close as you remember it.
Author. The surname alone is often enough.
ISBN. The 10 or 13 digit number above the barcode on the back cover. It points to one exact book.
Edition and publisher. Important for textbooks and study guides, where editions differ.
How many copies. One for you, or a set for a class or reading group.
When you need it. Tell us if there is a date, such as the start of term.

Does sending a request commit me to buying the book?

No. We tell you whether we can get the book and what it costs, and you decide. Nothing is ordered until you confirm.

The book is on the website but out of stock. Should I request it?

You can, but there is a quicker way. On the book's page, leave your number and we will let you know when a copy arrives.

Can I request more than one book?

Yes. Put each extra title in the “Anything else” box, one per line. For a school list, use the school lists page instead.

I only have a photo of the cover. Is that enough?

Often, yes. Send the photo on WhatsApp with anything else you know, such as the author or where you saw the book.

How will I get the book once it arrives?

Collect it free from the counter, or we deliver it. Delivery charges are the same as for any order.
