The President Will See You Now

In The President Will See You Now, Peggy Grande provides a firsthand account of working alongside Ronald Reagan after he stepped down from the American presidency. Beginning as a young student intern and eventually rising to serve as his personal executive assistant, Grande spent a decade managing his day-to-day office in California.

Her reflections capture the personal side of an iconic global figure during his later life. Through daily routines, interactions with visiting dignitaries, and quiet exchanges at the desk, Grande observes the character, discipline, and warmth that Reagan maintained even as he faced advancing age and health struggles.

This memoir combines personal anecdotes with lessons on leadership, loyalty, and public service. It provides a unique window into American political history and the private life of one of its most influential modern leaders.
