The Message

The Message: The Bible in Contemporary Language renders the holy scriptures in lively, everyday English. Translated by Eugene H. Peterson, this edition is designed to convey the original meaning of the biblical text in modern, accessible phrasing while keeping the tone and power of the narrative fresh for today's readers.

Presented here in the Remix edition, this volume serves readers who wish to experience the stories, poetry, and letters of the Bible with renewed clarity. It is well suited for daily personal devotions, family reading, or personal reflection alongside traditional versions of scripture.
