Sidney Sheldon's Chasing Tomorrow

In this gripping follow-up to Sidney Sheldon's classic crime novel, master thief Tracy Whitney has stepped away from the thrill of high-stakes heists to build a quiet life alongside her partner, Jeff Stevens. Yet settling down proves uneasy, and following unexpected strains and the arrival of an enigmatic stranger, Tracy vanishes entirely, leaving Jeff heartbroken and the wider world convinced that she is dead.

More than a decade later, Tracy's hidden existence unravels. A dedicated French detective begins investigating a trail of unsolved murders spanning several major cities—each scene mirroring the locations of Tracy's most daring past crimes. Realising someone is deliberately targeting her and unearthing painful secrets from her former life, Tracy must rely on her sharp wits and courage once more. Fans of fast-paced mysteries, international capers, and suspenseful fiction will thoroughly enjoy this dramatic continuation.
