Ordinary Level History of West Africa

Ordinary Level History of West Africa: Since 1000 is a dedicated secondary school textbook published by MK Publishers. Prepared by Esther Matsyetsye, Rev. Godfrey E.N. Nsubuga, Ronald Ssenkumba, and Benon Kiwala, this volume is tailored for students pursuing history studies at the Ordinary Level.

The book centres on West African historical developments from the year 1000 onwards. Incorporating regional geographical and historical contexts—spanning the Western, Central, and Eastern regions, including key reference points such as Lake Chad and the River Benue—it offers structured curriculum support for classroom learning, revision, and examination preparation across Ugandan secondary schools.
