I Know An Old Mzee Who Swallowed A Fly...

I Know An Old Mzee Who Swallowed A Fly... is a charming East African reimagining of the familiar cumulative rhyme, retold by Catherine Kreutter. Bringing a distinct regional flavour to the well-known tale, this picture story follows the mishaps of an old mzee who swallows an unfortunate fly.

The book is brought to life through illustrations by Johnmary Mukiza paired with collage and design work by Eric Kreutter, creating an engaging visual experience for early readers. Its repetitive and rhythmic structure makes it wonderful for reading aloud at home or sharing together during story time in the classroom.

Well suited for young children and early primary pupils, this entertaining paperback offers a fresh local take on a beloved story that parents and teachers alike will enjoy sharing.
