Final Impact

In Final Impact, author John Birmingham brings his gripping alternate history saga to a dramatic pitch. Following a freak temporal accident, a high-tech multinational fleet from the twenty-first century has been cast back into the middle of the Second World War. Modern armaments, future technologies, and historical foresight have completely upended the global balance of power, forcing world leaders and military commands in 1942 to reckon with unforeseen weapons and ideas.

As the Allied powers launch major offensives against the Nazi regime and pressure builds against Japan, the combatants must grapple with shifting alliances and the volatile clash between modern personnel and their historical counterparts. Knowledge of the future becomes the ultimate asset, but with time altered, the outcome of the war is no longer certain. This fast-paced, imaginative military thriller will captivate general readers and fans of inventive war fiction.
